Michael Araujo, president and part owner of A & P Marine completed two years of college as a mechanical technician, and then finished up his training in New Brunswick at St. Andrews College as a marine technician in 1987. Michael returned to Bermuda and worked for Williams Trading and United Marine, concentrating more on the big inboard gas and diesel engines.  He then moved on to run his own marine service / repair business.  In 1991, Michael and a partner took over the Yamaha distributorship from David Durham, then known as Bermuda Outboards, changing the name to A & P Marine.  It didn’t take them long to increase the market share for Yamaha here in Bermuda.  On weekends as a hobby, Michael raced boats for over seven years in an offshore twenty one foot skater cat powered by a high performance Yamaha outboard.  He was always known as the fastest on the track.  

Michael and his marine technicians are Yamaha trained and certified, updating their skills on a yearly basis to keep up with the fast changing technology of today’s sophisticated outboards.  The team at A & P Marine is the best in the industry and has the  Yamaha outboard.  A & P Marine’s crew work hard to provide customers with the best quality service in order to ensure reliable long lasting value.
