Yamaha Midrange Description

Here’s what makes each member of the Yamaha Midrange family unique:

F90
Features a 16-valve, Double Overhead Camshaft (DOHC) design for incredible acceleration, and Precision Multi-Point Fuel Injection for reliable starts and outstanding fuel efficiency. The F90 is the only Yamaha Midrange with an optional 25-inch shaft.

F75
The F75 features a 16-valve DOHC (Double Overhead Camshaft) design and Precision Multi-Point Fuel Injection for outstanding acceleration and efficiency. It offers many of the same advantages as the F90, in a lower horsepower and with a standard 20-inch shaft.

F70 (NEW)
Weighing in at up to 80 pounds lighter than its four stroke competitors, this 16-valve SOHC (Single Overhead Camshaft) midrange four stroke offers the greatest power-to-weight ratio in its class. That makes it perfect for lightweight fishing boats, pontoons and fiberglass boats. In addition, it’s Command Link^® and YCOP™ compatible.

F50/F60
These SOHC midranges feature Precision Multi-Point Fuel injection, for quick starts, superior performance and maximum efficiency. Coupled with a multi-function tiller handle, you won’t find a better addition to your bass or aluminum fishing boat.

F40
This versatile four stroke blends power and fuel efficiency with quiet performance and quick starts. It’s great for skiffs, jons, inflatables and small pontoons.

F30
This nimble outboard boasts impressive power and superb, four-stroke performance. At just 214 pounds, it's perfect for lightweight craft such as aluminum fishing boats and inflatables.

F25
This midrange workhorse offers responsive power and solid fuel efficiency in a compact package. It features smart engineering conveniences, like the new Nitro Assist Tilt for effortless tilt on both electric and manual start tiller models, and our PrimeStart™ system, for reliable, turnkey starts in hot or cold conditions. Available with a 20-inch shaft (standard on all Yamaha midranges), or a 15-inch shaft for skinnier water, it’s great for skiffs, jons, inflatables and flats boats.
